Day 18: Where Are You Happiest?

I literally have about ten minutes to post between taking the boy to school and going to work a 10 hour shift (ugh), so today’s post will be virtually wordless, I’m afraid. Aside from home, the happiest place on earth for me is Pike Place Market in Seattle.

The rows and rows of glorious produce and fresh cut flowers, the smell of the bay and the freshly caught salmon, the call of the seagulls and the street musicians — it is truly a utopia for the senses.

I have always wanted to visit there. What would be the best time of year to go to Seattle?

Hi Cristy! July is the best time to go if you want to have the best shot at sunshine. It does rain a lot, so make sure you pack your umbrella.

I went there once when I was ten, but I can’t remember it. *sadface*
