They don’t make Big Chiefs anymore?? 😦
You know I still have all of mine from Starkey’s classes. So funny to read!

Thanks for sharing your list! Love it!

No … no Big Chiefs anymore. I even called the company to complain. Hehe. Weren’t the Starkeys wonderful? I have been amazed since joining Facebook how many of our classmates are writers in one way or another. I think it’s largely because of them!

You’ve touched Bill Clinton? So many things come to mind, but I’ll behave (I caused you enough trouble on Facebook).

I’m with you on George Clooney.

Oh and brava on letting your kids watch “inappropriate” movies. They’ll be better adults for it.

LOL … I didn’t have a cigar handy, if THAT’S what you were thinking. And I forgot to save the dress I was wearing at the time … Okay, just kidding. I actually just shook his hand and he patted me on the shoulder. It was all I could do not to faint right then and there. Somehow, I managed to make a little small talk with him. I was high for at least a week afterward.

And as yummy as George is, yep, I’m convinced he’s totally gay. NOT that there’s anything wrong with that, you understand. 😉

Your favorite colors USED to be pink and green, together!

And Courier is my favorite font next to Helvetica, how can anyone dislike courier? Now take something like Lucida or Ariel, and I understand, but Courier?

I was really afraid reading your list that maybe you had changed completely in the 20+ years since we’ve seen one another, but I am relieved…seems like some big things have changed, but overall, the essence of you is the same. I’m so glad!

Lauri – Yes, pink changed to purple over the years. And I think you still know me well enough to realize there is a specific reason for that. Maybe we can discuss it over a bottle of wine. Soon!

I don’t like Lucida or Ariel, either … but Courier? How could you LIKE Courier? LOL. I’m thinking you like it because it’s more like the traditional typewriter font, right? There’s my vintage friend! Oh how I’ve missed you!

#30 – very impressive. I know all the verses to American Pie, I think, but I rarely can remember the correct order.

I, too remember the Big Chief. But I do not have any of mine anywhere (unless there are some in a dusty box in my folks’ basement on Green Mountain).

And I must confess that I use Courier. But then, I sometimes have to send code snippets to co-workers and it’s the best font for them (everybody who’s ever read a computer book knows that’s the font for code snippets).
